  2. Yay for Zelda! What a busy month you have had and early congratulations to your daughter. Joining Pinterest is tempting but right now I am just enjoying seeing the different images that are up especially the ones that are book and library related. Happy wishes for May!

  4. I'm moving in July, so I'm resisting the urge to spring clean - much more fun than de-cluttering and trying not to think about packing. (It's too soon to do it, just time to obsess a little about it.)

I'm a little tempted by Pinterest -- it looks like fun -- but who was it that had the famous quote that he wouldn't want to be part of any club that would have him as a member? Still waiting for my "invitation." Sheeesh! It sounds like you had a lovely month and that May holds good things in store for you.

    1. Audrey - Will you be moving far? Such a huge job... all the packing and unpacking, cleaning, organizing. Not to mention all the stress and obsession beforehand. I'm sure it will be a relief to settle into your new home.

  5. Great post! It sounds like you were busy with family things in April and you also read some good books!

Love the lake in your header photo...beautiful! The other morning I woke up to 39 degree weather! Bizarre-o world.

I just recently started making some boards on pinterest, it's fun and I can see it becoming addictive.
I hope you have a good week, Joann!

    1. Amy - Spring seems to be filled with so many family activities. We'll be seeing even more of them as we head into the graduation season. I wanted to update the header photo again, but with all the cold weather, things haven't gotten much greener. I'll change it in May for sure. Will give Pinterest a trial in May, too.

  6. Well aren't you the creative one! I think I'd like to try this one of these days for something different. I was thinking of you when I saw that the front that gave us 72 degree highs blasted up there and gave you snow. And good for Zelda, that sweet baby.

    1. Sandy - Not just a little snow, either... 6 inches overnight in April is a bit much, even for us! There are still some snow banks around the high school and they'll still be there for the beginning of May - crazy!

  7. The April weather was crazy here as well.

Did I miss a post about a new addition for Zelda.... Electra??

    Have a good week JoAnn

    1. Diane - Oh no, not another dog for us. Electra belongs to my SIL, but Zelda just met her for the first time and they were instant friends.

  11. What a lovely way to do a monthly recap! Fantastic idea - and looks like you had a crazy good month, so yay :-) I'm undecided about Pinterest too - I Pin some of my blog posts, and use it occasionally, but honestly, I'm tuckered out from all these social media things on the internet.
