 Welcome to Gulfside Musing.

This blog began in 2008 as Lakeside Musing and I've been talking primarily about books (literary fiction, classics, nonfiction, and audiobooks) ever since. 

We sold our  central New York lakeside home in 2019, moved to Florida's Gulf Coast, and I renamed the blog Gulfside Musing. Now we divide out time between southwest Florida and coastal Connecticut. I still write mostly about books, but also like to talk about food, family, and travel.

    I see you're currently reading City on Fire. I would be really interested to hear your views on it because I reviewed this on my blog and didn't feel too strongly about it!

    It's a good book...but for the length of it, not much happens!

      Megan - I just started City on Fire last night and really liked the first chapter. We'll see how the next 900 pages go. I'll come look for your review after I finish :)
