My blogging break may continue another week or so, but these ABC monthly reviews are really fun to write. It may become a regular feature...
What a lovely picture, and I love your ABC's. I'm so with you on the Q!ReplyDelete
You've already had snow?! I am looking forward to the powdery stuff, but I prefer to wait until November :)ReplyDelete
LOVE the photo - and the ABC roundup is a great review tool.
Have a happy halloween - and try to find a few minutes to rest and relax during this blogging hiatus.
I love this! And trust me, I understand where you are coming from. My kids aren't headed for college yet, but we are in the process of shopping high schools (yes we have to do that here). I can't believe you are still dealing with the oven!!!!! Personally, I think life may get slower for the month of January. Looking forward to it.ReplyDelete
I am sick of all the election stuff...especially the mailers. I can't believe all the junk mail this year!ReplyDelete
Oh, I love your photos...both the one at the top of this blog post, and the one in your header.ReplyDelete
Your ABC themed month in review is wonderfully creative.

I like how much you can say just in a simple ABC! Hope your November will be great!ReplyDelete
I like this month summary format! Very clever. Sounds like a busy month!ReplyDelete
Fun and you do it well! Your post looks so serene that I almost did not realize the hectic nature of some of those components. Keep enjoying that break and make some more reading time for yourself. In a nice quiet spot. When things get crazy for me, I often start wondering when people will please stop talking to me. :)ReplyDelete
Your alphabets are poetic, the way they say so much.ReplyDelete
Yes...make them a regular feature. I love how original it is and I got a very clear snapshot of your month..fun/pain/exasperation and all!ReplyDelete
JoAnn...this post told us so much about your month. Hope November is much more relaxed for you, and HUG Zelda for me.....poor baby.ReplyDelete
I used to live in the Adirondacks. Great place to visit but wasn't crazy about it year-round.ReplyDelete
Pumpkin spice lattes! I love them too and always look forward to fall when they come back again.ReplyDelete
It sounds like you've had quite a lot on your plate lately! I hope life calms down soon. Happy Halloween and happy November!ReplyDelete
What a great way to revisit the month. Happy Halloween!ReplyDelete
So impressed that you can alphabetise this - I must have a pumpkin spice latte one day.ReplyDelete
Rhapsody - Looking forward to the quiet after tomorrow night!ReplyDelete
Molly - We ended up with a snowy Halloween, too!

Leeswammes - It's like a little writing exercise, but such fun!

Staci - Look for another one at the end of November!

I really like your ABC-monthly overviews. It looks like you had a lot on your plate and I hope November is an "easier" month for you!ReplyDelete
You like writing the ABCs and I like reading them. It's amazing how much you can tell about your life at present via only 26 lines. I really like the picture too.ReplyDelete
Beth F - Thanks! The break is mostly to readjust my own blogging expectations.ReplyDelete
Iris - I think the ABC monthly reviews are here to stay.
Thanks, Margot! In some ways this seems like a writing exercise, but it's a lot of fun.
I love these ABC roundups. I'm thinking about copying :)ReplyDelete
Stacybuckeye - You're more than welcome to copy... the ABC roundup seems especially appropriate for you now!ReplyDelete
That picture is so gorgeous--love the fog and the colors.ReplyDelete
And Pumpkin Spice Lattes! I totally agree (though looking forward to Peppermint now!).
Concert season? What kind of concerts?
Trish - Not much longer to wait for the peppermint mochas... I love those, too! It's the high school concert season. The first one featured HS concert choir (Twin B sings), along with the Community Band and the college chorale. The rest of the orchestra, band, singing groups will have concerts between now and early January.ReplyDelete
