Audrey - Thank you. They say people have one 'heart' dog and Zelda was certainly mine. She recently developed both kindney failure and leukemia, but I was still surprised it progressed so quickly.
I’m sorry this happened. My dog died from cancer a few weeks ago, and it was devastating. I loved seeing photos of Zelda on Instagram. I’ve always wanted a retired racer. *Hugs*
Oh, JoAnn--I'm so sorry I didn't see your post before today. My aching heart is with yours in spirit. How tragic, how difficult. My thoughts are with you! Consoling wishes for you and your family, Judith
Thank you, Judith. This happened just days after I left my condolences on your post about Sasha. It was not entirely unexpected, but we did not think things would progress so quickly. It's been a difficult couple of weeks, as you know all too well. I just started reading again a few days ago and may get a blog post up next week.
