LOVE the photo - and the ABC roundup is a great review tool.

Have a happy halloween - and try to find a few minutes to rest and relax during this blogging hiatus.

  3. I love this! And trust me, I understand where you are coming from. My kids aren't headed for college yet, but we are in the process of shopping high schools (yes we have to do that here). I can't believe you are still dealing with the oven!!!!! Personally, I think life may get slower for the month of January. Looking forward to it.

  8. Fun and you do it well! Your post looks so serene that I almost did not realize the hectic nature of some of those components. Keep enjoying that break and make some more reading time for yourself. In a nice quiet spot. When things get crazy for me, I often start wondering when people will please stop talking to me. :)

  20. You like writing the ABCs and I like reading them. It's amazing how much you can tell about your life at present via only 26 lines. I really like the picture too.

Iris - I think the ABC monthly reviews are here to stay.

Thanks, Margot! In some ways this seems like a writing exercise, but it's a lot of fun.

  24. That picture is so gorgeous--love the fog and the colors.

And Pumpkin Spice Lattes! I totally agree (though looking forward to Peppermint now!).

Concert season? What kind of concerts?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Trish - Not much longer to wait for the peppermint mochas... I love those, too! It's the high school concert season. The first one featured HS concert choir (Twin B sings), along with the Community Band and the college chorale. The rest of the orchestra, band, singing groups will have concerts between now and early January.
