Easter Weekend Begins Now!

It's 5 PM. I really thought I might be able to squeeze in just one review before the house filled up. After all, I finished my Classics Spin book, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, several days before the April 1 deadline. But instead, I have planned menus, gone grocery shopping, and cleaned the house. Now we are five again, so I'll take a break this long Easter weekend and just enjoy our time together.

I'll be back next week with a review or two, a wrap- up of #EstellaGram and The TBR Double Dog Dare, and a Weekend Cooking post. In the meantime, I have a couple of new books to start, March Madness to watch, and Easter bread to bake. I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend. Happy Easter!

    1. Audrey - LOL! Wegmans always has that blend, but said many wheels of one component have been coming in moldy lately. Since they mixed a special batch for me, my chicken piccata was saved. Wegmans is the best! I just read the first chapter of High Rising - this could become an addiction! Happy Easter

  5. I almost sent you a FB message last night complaining about the hurting that Syracuse was putting on IU. *sigh* We don't have huge plans for Easter, except for popping open some alcohol which I gave up for 40 days. Sunday should be interesting.

    1. Sandy - I'm old enough to remember the 1987 championship game (people around here still talk about the final shot that won it for Indiana), so last night was extra sweet. Enjoy your wine Easter Sunday!

  6. I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend JoAnn! I have the day off today (but Elle's school is still open) so I'm taking advantage of my lack of PTO time at work and sewing most of the day. And of course catching up on blogs...it's been weeks. :(

I hope you're enjoying Calling Me Home. We read it for my book club last night and Julie Kibler came to the bookstore to sign books and then met with our group. She was so gracious and sweet--though I still have 50 pages left to read in the book.

Eat some of those Jelly Beans!
