I have the Fitzgerald on my TBR pile as well, and I love Joyce Carol Oates, although I've not read that one of hers. Looks like January will be a good reading month for you!
Good for you in taking up this Challenge, JoAnn. All the best in fulfilling your commitment! It's been a joy visiting your blog, and receiving your visits and kind comments in mine at Ripple Effects. Have a wonderful New Year, you and yours... all the college kids! (I've one only, and he's in law school now... still college, yes)
Vintage Reading - The frosty photo was taken a couple weeks ago. We're back to having an unbelievably mild winter , but I know it won't last long.
L.L. - Tender is the Night has generated a lot of enthusiastic comments! I loved it when I was in high school and have been wanting to reread for several years... it's finally time!
I've been very aware these last few days of the TBR dare looming! I managed to add a few to the TBR pile as well.
ReplyDeleteOoh, looks like you have a fun TBR project now, so enjoy and have fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe and Happy New Year, JoAnn!

Ah, clever of you to get them in before the TBR dare period starts! :--)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Great books. Looks like a great year of reading ahead for you. I know I'm ready with Clarissa -- all nine volumes!
ReplyDeleteI've been very tempted to pay the bookstore a visit before tomorrow. Even entered a few. But I've resisted.
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that the TBR Double Dare is not a book buying ban. You can still buy books, you just can't read them until April 1. ;-)
