Reading blogs whilst at work is not good - it really makes me wish to be elsewhere... Right now for me happiness would be on my sofa, with a cup of tea and Warmth. Roll on this evening!
I'm more of an Americano type of gal, but I'm going to treat myself to a pumpkin latte this morning since everyone seems to rave about them.
I read The Bluest Eye about a dozen years ago and didn't care too much for it. However, I loved Beloved! Amazing book. Other than that, Toni Morrison is one author I avoid. I gave up on her after struggling through half of Paradise. UGH!
Les -Despite staring Beloved (twice), I've yet to read a Morrison novel. For some reason, I've been avoiding her, too. Still not finished, but it seems to be going better this time. Hoping that continues.
Carolsnotebook - :-)
everybookandcranny - Hoping for another 'coffee break' this week.
Beth F - Double espresso and I wouldn't be able to sit, much less read. I'd be ready for an audiobook and a run ;-)
Change mine to vanilla and I'm right there with you!
ReplyDeleteI'll take an Americano or, if I'm feeling risky, a Mocha Coconut Latte. And that book is incredible!
ReplyDeleteThere were two people in front of me at Starbucks and they both ordered pumpkin spice latte. I ordered ice green tea, it was warm this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteHa! Perfect--enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteHsppy fsll! :)
ReplyDeletemmmmm, absolutely agreed.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy The Bluest Eye. It's been about 10 years since I read it but I love Morrison's writing.
I do love a pumpkin spice latte!
ReplyDeleteThe Blues Eye was my favorite Toni Morrison book. I like pumpkin flavored coffee, but not a latte fan for some reason.

ReplyDeleteSoftdrink - Ha Ha, no vanilla for me :-)
ReplyDeleteNatalie - Mocha Coconut Latte??? Think I'll have to go back tomorrow.
Nise' - I like green tea, too. It was a little warm here yesterday too, but I couldn't wait any longer for my first pumpkin spice latte.
DS - It was... and I did! :-)
Audrey - Happy Fall to you, too!
Trish - I am now officially in awe of Morrison!
Reviewsbylola - Me, too! It's a sure sign of fall.
Diane - I'm going to have to try the pumpkin flavored coffee!
Joan Hunter Dunn - I'm sure it's evening there by now... have a good one :-)
Ti - Aww, I'm glad!
Nymeth - I'd be happy with a chai latte, too!
Now that is my type of photo depicted a great way to spend an afternoon!
