"...then we talked about Mason Tate and his hatred of all things purple (royalty, plums, fancy prose)."Rules of Civility by Amor Towles, p. 166
Even though purple is my least favorite color, I can still appreciate its beauty. Lovely!
Georgia Girls - Thanks, I may have gone a little overboard this year!
Yeah, well, Mason Tate, take *that*.
Amy - Ha! Didn't like him much anyway ;-)
Gorgeous flowers! I've been in the garden quite a bit this summer. :)
Diana - Thanks. I substituted some purple annuals where I usually have pink, so my color scheme is slightly darker this year.
Purple isn't my favorite color and yet I love purple flowers. It's so nice to see so many summery pictures everywhere. I need to get some taken of ours here before they're gone. Lol.
Darlene - It does seem like summer is SO short. Next time you're out walking Sammy, be sure to take a camera along. I'd love to see your summer shots!
So pretty! While you might have the harsher winter, I'm jealous of the moderate summer weather that allows for such beautiful blooms. We're pretty limited down here and by July there's not a whole lot of anything!
Trish - Heat and humidity have always been tough on me... and I try to remind myself of that during every snowstorm!
I love the color purple and these are gorgeous!!!
Thanks, Staci. I somehow wound up with more purple than usual this year.
