Out walking the dog...
Zelda is here and as sweet as can be! She's a quiet, well-mannered girl that seems to like nothing better than a nice long walk followed by a tummy rub. The holiday weekend ahead will provide the perfect opportunity for some "family bonding". See you next week...

Aww..she's adorable! =)
ReplyDeleteOh, she's gorgeous, and she looks so happy! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, and such a "big girl". I expected smaller for a female dog. JoAnn you must keep us updated with her progress.
ReplyDeleteI think it is so wonderful that you have brought her into your lives. HUGS to you Both!
What a precious baby girl! She looks very happy to have you as a new mom! Now go spoil her rotten with treats and tummy rubs!
ReplyDeleteI love her!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's truly a beautiful dog!! Enjoy your walks and the family getting to know each other!
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely beautiful and I can tell already a beloved member of the family. Have some great walks and lake time this weekend and we look forward to more photos of Zelda in the future!

ReplyDeleteOh she's lovely! How wonderful that you finally have her and she's a lucky girl to have all of you!
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous and it's wonderful that she's settling in so well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy face Zelda has. In Australia, greyhounds are supposed to wear a muzzle in public, which is kind of mean, as those considered suitable as pets are lovely-natured dogs. Big though! :)
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered your blogs via Darlene. Zelda is absolutely lovely. You're so lucky to have found each other!
ReplyDeleteK x
She is a beauty. Have fun getting to know her!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful JoAnn. It looks like she's happy to be with you guys. I can't wait to hear more about her.e
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a fantastic time together!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments! Zelda is proving to be a wonderful addition to the family, and an ideal "walking buddy" for me. She isn't all that fond of her crate, but I'm not quite ready to give her free run of the house when we are out, or at night. She is very quiet, well-mannered, and gentle... which I've learned are standard greyhound traits. I'll post about her progress in another week or so.
ReplyDeleteZelda is beautiful and she looks like an absolute sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteOh, she is so gorgeous!!! And she looks so sweet too :) I bet you are just in heaven right now :)
ReplyDeleteReviewsbylola - Thanks. She is a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteWendy - Thank you. She is such a sweet girl - adjusting to the life of a pet very well!
She's so beautiful! I think greyhounds look so elegant! What a lucky girl to have found such a good mommy! :)
ReplyDeleteHeather - Thank you. I think they're very elegant looking, too! She's been here a week now and adjusting beautifully. Such a sweet girl...
ReplyDeleteZelda is beautiful! I'd love to take her for a walk with my Max :)
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye - Wouldn't that be fun! I'm sure Zelda would love it, too.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy! I've heard greyhounds are excellent pets. Did you choose her name?
ReplyDeleteKarenlibrarian - Zelda is an absolute sweetheart. 'Superior Zelda' was her racing name name and we decided to keep it... kind of makes me want to reread Tender is the Night!
