Zelda, Zelda, Zelda.... I know your pain. It's been a while, but Dakota is a major book lover, too.
ReplyDeleteOne more month with the TBR Double Dog Dare. Hope you're having fun with it. I've stuck to it, myself. Though I did get an ARC of The Burgess Boys which I'll have to read very soon. I'm not publishing my post until after the Dare is over, though.
Let me know by email if you'd like it once I'm done. I'd be happy to send it along your way.
James - I'm afraid Zelda's newfound love of literature may become an ongoing problem. She has enjoyed another book since The Moonstone. Thanks so much for your kind offer... will send an email right away!
DeleteI like your wrap-up....thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy March!
Here'sMY SUNDAY SALON POST
Zelda and Dakota need to hook up! And sorry about no trip to Florida this year, except I will tell you that right now it is FREEZING, if that helps.
ReplyDeleteSandy - We went to Sanibel in January (the weather was gorgeous!), but I was really hoping to squeeze in another visit this month to help my FIL prepare for his move.
DeleteOh no! Dogs eating books? Oh, I hope poor Zelda wasn't punished too severely!
ReplyDeleteLisa - At least she has good taste ;-)
DeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteAmusing wrap for Feb. Sounds like an eventful month. Yes, I share your sentiments re. the ending of DA. And since you're on Dorian Gray, have you seen the newest adaptation (2009) with Colin Firth, Ben Barnes, and Rebecca Hall? It's not a great one, but watchable.
ReplyDeleteArti - You know I'll watch anything if Colin Firth is involved ;-)
DeleteWhat a month! Yay for joining NetGalley! I love it though I often catch myself with so many galleys to read. Poor Moonstone. It was just minding its business when Zelda came along for a taste! :-)
ReplyDeleteVasilly - I'm going to try and limit my NetGalley requests to just one at a time. We'll see if I can manage!
DeleteSorry Zelda's reading got a bit too enthusiastic.
ReplyDeleteNise' - Guess I'll have to move my books to higher shelves...
DeleteI love the way you did this with the ABC's...and thanks for causing me in to having to finish Vanity Fair in 11 days! Oh dear, talk about becoming confused! Where did February go?! I loved Mudbound by Hillary Jordan, but When She Woke? Not so much. I'm looking froward too the same Barbara Pym book from NetGalley which, in my opinion, is a joy and a trial at the same time. Even more titles to keep on top of!
ReplyDelete"clueing" me in, not causing...
DeleteBellezza - It took some time to get into Vanity Fair, but now it's a lot of fun. Definitely worth reading, even if it takes more than 11 days! I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use NetGalley. Right now I'm sticking to one request at a time, but there are so many tempting titles...
Deletelove love LOVE your alphabet recaps! such wonderfulness.
ReplyDeleteCare - Thanks, these monthly wrap-ups are fun to write!
DeleteZelda has excellent taste in literature but not one you'll want her indulging in too often.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful March!
Cat - I should hope not! Zelda can get anxious when family members aren't home and often comforts herself by hoarding our possessions (usually shoes). The book must have smelled like me, lol!
DeleteIs Zelda boycotting F Scott's books?
ReplyDeleteOh Zelda, at least u have good taste:)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week Joann.
Such a fun round-up I look forward to these. And yes, Oh No! on Downton.
ReplyDeleteI joined Netgalley last fall and haven't requested anything :) I'm afraid to accumulate even more to read.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye - I figure if I just request one book at a time, I'll be okay. Let's hope I can stick it... there are SO many tempting books!
