Thanks, everybody. The geese visit for a few days each fall, then continue their journey south. Wish I could add a soundtrack to the photo - you wouldn't believe how loud they are!! They'll pass through again in the spring.
E.L. Fay - The geese are on their way south, and the lake seems to be a favorite rest stop each year. A few do stay, but most are gone in a couple of days.
Oh my goodness. Does this happen often?
ReplyDeleteInvasion of the geese would make a good book title. Lol! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe had a visit from a Pileated Woodpecker yesterday. Whenever I see them, I can totally believe that birds are the descendants of dinosaurs!

ReplyDeleteSoftdrink - LOL!
The geese are migrating! Awesome capture.
ReplyDeleteOh, so that's where they all went to!
ReplyDeleteBeth F - Thanks...was glad I had the camera nearby.
ReplyDeleteDarlene - They're gone now...probably found another lake on their trip south!
Stunning! I want to be there in person :)
ReplyDeleteMy gosh, is this YOUR home view? I can't believe it. You are so lucky.
ReplyDeleteNan - Yes, this is my view and I am very thankful for it! The water is so relaxing, and it's amazing how it changes from day to day.
ReplyDeleteYour lake pictures always leave me green with envy. I live next to a river, but it's not as half as interesting as a lake...sigh...
