  6. Beautiful pictures. It reminded me of my trip to Sanibel over 25 years ago. I was amazed at how white and fluffy the sand on the beach was. It was almost like talcum powder. Very different from the Pacific coast beaches I was used to. Its a wonderful place to be, especially when its so cold at home. Enjoy.

  7. Lovely photos of Sanibel. I lived in Ft Myers for 14 years before I moved to Australia and remember good times on Sanibel with our boat.

  9. Dolphins! I love watching the dolphins play. They raced our boat when we went out for a day. They really did seem to think it was all fun and games :)

  15. What a sight. As one hidden in the Rockies, the beach is far, far away, let alone a dolphin. What an experience you've had. Thanks for sharing. ;)

  16. Your lovely pictures remind me of hours I spent quite a few years ago on the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva, bent over in the "Sanibel stoop." Seashell Heaven! Would love to go back again some day.

    1. JudyMac - I think the Sanibel and Captiva beaches are among the most beautiful in the world... and I love pointing out the Sanibel Stoop to our friends. Definitely seashell heaven. I can't wait to return!
