My favs over past several months would be Career of Evil (Galbraith); Deep South (Theroux); The Waters of Eternal Youth (Donna Leon); and Lolly Willowes (Warner). I'm currently reading The Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee. I will be paying overdue fees just to finish it; that's what I get when reserved books become available at same time. 😁 But I definitely want to finish. Learning more about Paris, the Opera Garnier, opera singers, and ladies of the evening in late 19th century Paris. Great one for Paris fans.JudyMachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04448320253904832677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7080965436653289398.post-39152706028691142812016-03-30T10:19:16.240-04:002016-03-30T10:19:16.240-04:00Patty - I think our taste in books has a pretty bi...Patty - I think our taste in books has a pretty big overlap :)JoAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691864361197071517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7080965436653289398.post-23972937109751446272016-03-30T09:36:50.997-04:002016-03-30T09:36:50.997-04:00We matched thoughts on many of these! In fact, I struggle to remember how it ended, but I can't forget the characters and the world that Hallberg made.
